Hey all! Linden here! It’s been a year since the last time
anything’s been posted on this blog. You know what that means! That’s right –
I’m not grounded anymore!
No, really, actually it means that Big Person finally has
time to give me the computer, and help me take some pictures. It’s been a busy
year for Big Person. She published her first book, and let me tell you, it took eight whole years! I’m ten, so that’s like
forever!
A little light reading. Oof! If you like LARGE print, that is! |
Here’s me with The Book. I’m not gonna pressure you or
anything but you should totally go
buy one. Or at least tell everybody else you know to go buy one! :)
But that’s not what we’re here for. Today, I’m finally
starting my interview series. Yay! I’ve decided to interview my friends on
their birthdays. There’s a lot of us, so there will be plenty to talk about.
But since there are three birthdays today, I’m going to do only two, and the
next one tomorrow.
Smoochy and I say Hi! |
Today we say Happy Birthday to Smoochy and his son Lil
Smooch.
This is them, with Smoochy’s partner Stretch and Lil
Stretch. Smoochy and Stretch arrived on the same day, way back in 1998. That is
WAY older than me, even though technically I was “introduced” in 2001.
What a happy family! |
So…before we start, I did a little deductive work. And I
found out this information:
Is he a frog or maybe a prince?
This confusion makes him wince
Find the answer, help him with this
Be the one to give him a kiss!
That is Smoochy’s poem. I asked him about it.
This is my interview area. |
Me: Smoochy, what would you say this poem says about you and
your son?
Smoochy: I think it’s a life lesson, honestly. My boy and I
are definitely princes, so don’t judge us just because we’re green – and
yellow. Stretch has always seen that. And Big Person too. Although when she was
Little Person she was very disappointed that I didn’t turn into a Person-sized
prince when she kissed me.
All right, well that’s all we have time for today. So tune
in next time for another interview!
Linden out!
P.S. I didn’t really get grounded for a year. Just…almost a
year. I may have tried to take a picture of lions, tigers, bears, and me. And
maybe it kinda sort of didn’t go quite as I planned.
You can't see it from here, but this part of the Zoo is up sorta high. So maybe I shouldn't have tried to have everyone sit on my shoulders all at once... |
